Anxiety hypnotherapy that resolves — not manages.
Strategic, multi-modal sessions for stress, panic, sleep loss, and the chronic tension that comes with it. In-person in Cabinteely, Dublin 18 — or online, anywhere in Ireland.

The shape anxiety usually takes — even in people who look fine on the outside.
You don’t need to tick most of these for anxiety to be quietly running your life. Two or three is often enough.
- Lying awake replaying the day, or rehearsing tomorrow
- A low hum of tension in the chest, jaw, or shoulders that won’t shift
- Avoiding situations you used to handle without thinking
- Decision-making feels exhausting, even for small things
- Heart-rate spikes that feel disproportionate to what’s happening
- Sleep is shallow, broken, or hard to start
- A “just-in-case” worry running underneath everything
- Knowing rationally you’re fine, but the body disagrees
Anxiety isn’t a personality trait or a thinking problem. It’s a nervous system pattern with a root underneath — and patterns can be re-patterned.
Three things I do differently from how anxiety is usually treated.
And why most clients see the chest tension loosen within the first session — and the wider pattern dissolve within two or three.
Strategic, not scripted
I assess each client and ask the leading questions that get to what’s actually going on. Your session is built for you in the first 15 minutes — never delivered from a generic anxiety script.
Root cause, not symptom
The racing heart, the lost sleep, the avoidance — those are downstream. We find what’s upstream and resolve it there. That’s why the changes hold.
Resolved, not patched
Most clients fully resolve their anxiety in two or three sessions. Long enough to do the work properly and check it’s holding. Never more than you need.
Six trained modalities — combined per client, never used the same way twice.
Here’s roughly how each one shows up when we’re working with anxiety specifically. The exact blend depends on what your nervous system responds to.
The kind of shift people don’t think is still available to them.
Falling asleep within minutes rather than hours. Sleeping through the night. Waking rested, not braced for the day.
The constant tension in chest, jaw, or shoulders releases — often within the first session. Breath gets deeper without effort.
Small choices stop feeling exhausting. Bigger ones stop spiralling. The over-analysis quietens down.
The dinners, meetings, social events, motorway drives, GP visits — whatever you’d been quietly avoiding stops feeling out of reach.
Anxiety burns through energy quietly. Once it lifts, what returns surprises most people.
Not a managed version. Not a version waiting for the next wave. The version that was there before the anxiety took up so much room.

Two or three sessions
Most anxiety resolves in 2–3 — long enough to embed the change in and check it’s holding.
Week-later check-in
I text every client a week after our work to see how it’s settled.
A dramatic shift in my mindset after just a few sessions. I genuinely didn’t expect to feel this different, this quickly.

How does hypnotherapy help with anxiety?+
Hypnotherapy works at the subconscious level where anxiety patterns are actually stored. By settling the nervous system into a deeply relaxed but fully aware state, we can re-pattern the loops underneath the symptoms — often within 2–3 bespoke sessions, depending on how long the pattern has been running.
Can I be hypnotised if I’m always overthinking?+
Yes — overthinkers often respond well, because the focused absorption of hypnotherapy is the opposite of the spinning thought-loop. You stay in control throughout. If a deep trance doesn’t suit you, I’ll use NLP, CBT, EMDR or EFT instead. The work doesn’t depend on any one modality.
Will the anxiety come back after sessions?+
When we resolve the root cause rather than manage symptoms, the changes tend to hold. I text every client a week after our first session to check it’s settled. Some clients need continued work until things are fully embedded — and part of what we do together is teaching you the tools and techniques to handle everyday anxiety on your own going forward.
Do I have to talk about everything that’s bothering me?+
No. Much of the work happens subconsciously, especially with EMDR, EFT and somatic healing. You can do significant trauma and anxiety work without describing the events in detail. We go at your pace, always.
How is this different from CBT alone?+
CBT is one of the six modalities I use — alongside Clinical Hypnotherapy, NLP, EMDR, EFT Tapping, and Somatic Healing. CBT addresses thought patterns; the others reach the body, the subconscious and the felt sense — which is why a multi-modality approach often works better than any single one on its own.
Does hypnotherapy work for everyone?+
It works for anyone who is genuinely ready and willing to change. That part matters — the technique opens the door, but your willingness is what walks you through it. If you’re not yet ready, no modality (mine or anyone else’s) is going to make the change happen for you. Most people who book a free call already know they want something to shift.
Can hypnotherapy replace anxiety medication?+
I’m not a doctor and don’t recommend stopping or changing medication. Many clients on prescribed medication find that hypnotherapy reduces their reliance over time, with their GP’s support. That decision is between you and your prescriber.
